Lost & found and agent assistance
We lost an item on the first part of our 3-week trip to Italy. We left an important bag on the flight from YVR to CDG and did not realize it until disembarking the connecting flight from CDG to NAP.
We fretted the entire time and started an online list & found account. Customer service for that was helpful.
We arrived at CDG on the way home, a little early for our appointment and very distressed because of time constraints for our connecting flight to YVR. The agent kept us calm and completed the process quickly, giving us instructions on how to get to our next gate. Again, VERY stressed because of the overwhelming size of the airport. We did a lot of running, asking Air France people along the way for further directions. Every person we asked was knowledgeable and helpful with one agent actually walking with us for a bit to give us directions.
After having to go through passport check and gate security again with long lines, we made it to our gate with a couple of minutes to spare - and our found item safely in hand.
Air France has very friendly and knowledgeable staff and we thank each person who helped this traumatic experience turn out well in the end.
